Kirk Stauffer, head golf professional at Pine Acres Country Club, said Pine Acre’s fast green separates it from other courses.
“Our green speed is faster than most,” he said. “The putting surface is better, and it’s sometimes harder to score because of the demand it has on your iron game.”

The Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau is offering a deal that will suit all golfers to a “tee” – or actually, “tee for two.”
The 2011 Golf Passport for McKean County, PA will provide two lucky winners with a special golf package. Each will get FREE golf for two plus an overnight stay for two and dinner for two. The whole process isn’t very “rough.”
